TLL 2012 Talent Hunt
The Tau Lambda Lambda (TLL) Chapter of Omega Psi Phi
Fraternity, Inc. recently celebrated Christian Stewart’s 3rd
Place
finish at the fraternity’s Second District Conference Talent Hunt
competition, which was held in April at the National Harbor in Oxon
Hill, Maryland. The event included youth from the states of Delaware,
Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, showcasing their
talents in performing and visual arts, and competing for cash
prizes.Stewart advanced to the District competition by winning 1st Place
at
TLL Chapter’s 4th Annual Talent Hunt competition, which was held in
February at Westlake High School.

“Talent Hunt’ is one of the
Nationally Mandated Programs of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The
purpose is to provide exposure, encouragement and financial assistance
to talented young people participating in the performing and visual
arts. Winners are recognized for their achievement and receive cash
awards. Stewart, 14, is a freshman at North Point High School
and enjoys singing when he’s not in school. He won a total of $800 from
the two competitions

TLL Chapter is already gearing up for their
5th Annual Talent Hunt competition to be held in 2013. We extend an
invitation for all of Southern Maryland to come out and support the area
youth.
